Internship Director
Hi! I’m Sarah Miller, a board-certified music therapist with nearly six years of experience. I’ve worked with people with disabilities since the beginning of my career and truly love this work. My practice is grounded in connection, play, and honoring each client’s interests. In the session room, you’ll find me running, jumping, laughing, listening closely, and staying deeply attuned to my clients—whatever helps them feel seen and supported.
I especially enjoy working with interns because supervision is another form of meaningful connection. I love investing in future music therapists and supporting them as they grow into confident, ethical professionals. I value the collaborative nature of internship, where we discover together how you will thrive in this field. That path looks different for everyone, and I genuinely enjoy the creativity and problem-solving that comes with that process.
Outside of work, you can usually find me running, crafting, reading, playing video games, or hanging out with my cat—ideally with a hot cup of tea (except while running). I love frogs, the color green, and summer weather—the hotter, the better!
